Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced that his “Project Rock” apparel is now the official footwear for UFC.

On Friday, Dwayne shared the historic news about the partnership on Twitter that will commence today during the UFC 270: NGANNOU vs. GANE event.

Along with the partnership, UFC athletes will receive Project Rock footwear in their UFC Fight Kits. The athletes will be required to wear the footwear in the locker rooms on Fight Night and during the walkouts to the octagon.

Being a UFC athlete does have its perks. The athletes will be receiving Project Rock slides and the brand’s BSR training shoes. In addition, they will also be granted limited-edition Project Rock x UFC co-branded BRS 2 training shoes.

Back in 2021, UFC’s partnership with Reebok ended. The mixed martial arts promotions company then teamed up with Venom to be the official sponsor of the events.
