Ebro Thinks Ice Spice Staged The McDonald’s Chaos For Promo: “I’m Not Buying It”

Ice Spice’s viral McDonald’s altercation is still making noise, and now Ebro Darden is questioning whether the whole thing was real.

During a recent episode of “The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show,” the radio personality said he wasn’t convinced the now-circulating fight footage was an authentic random encounter. While discussing the incident with co-host Laura Styles, she recapped the scene by saying, “She was just with her homegirl, just eating a little cheeseburger, and then she just came up.”

Ebro immediately pushed back on the setup, asking, “So Ice Spice just sits in a Hollywood McDonald’s without security?” Styles replied that she believed security was present, but Ebro said their lack of involvement only raised more questions.

“That’s also kind of what made me feel like this might be, kind of promo, too,” said Ebro. “Y’all know I be looking for promo. Ice Spice needs promo right now… I feel like it was wrestling.” He then added that he believed the woman involved may have known the rapper beforehand. “Y’all believe in that? I’m not buying it.”

Styles disagreed with the theory, but Ebro stood firm that something about the moment felt off.

The original footage, first shared by TMZ, showed Ice Spice being approached by a woman who asked if they were “ready to shake ass.” After Ice Spice and a friend told her to leave, the situation escalated when the woman slapped the rapper. The confrontation then spilled outside before others stepped in.

Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen later confirmed the matter was reported to police.

“The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD, and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” he said.
