Elon Musk and Grimes have secretly welcomed a new baby into their family.
According to Page Six, Grimes had no choice but to reveal the news after her baby girl started crying during her interview with Variety.
“She’s a little colicky too. I don’t know. I don’t know what I was thinking,” Grimes said after the news was shared.
Grimes told the outlet that their daughter’s biological name is Exa Dark Sideræl but will go by “Y.” This is actually fitting since her brother X Æ A-XII, is referred to as “X.”
Exa was born via surrogate in December 2021, shortly after Grimes and Musk announced their split after three years together. Despite the announcement, Grimes and Musk have remained “together” to a certain extent.
“I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid. We live in separate houses. We’re best friends. We see each other all the time. … We just have our own thing going on, and I don’t expect other people to understand it. This is the best it’s ever been. We just need to be free,” Grimes says.
Before Musk and Grimes’s relationship, the tech mogul was previously married to author Justine Wilson. The two welcome five kids together: 17- year- old twins Griffin and Xavier and 16-year-old triplets Damian, Saxon, and Kai.
