“Love & Hip Hop” star Erica Mena and her boyfriend, Clifford, were both arrested over the weekend in Johns Creek, Georgia, on separate charges, according to 11Alive and a police report.
Officers were sent to the couple’s home on Friday for a reported assault in progress. According to the report, a person in the home said they heard what sounded like a slap, and two people told police that Clifford kicked through a bedroom door to reach a room where Erica was. Clifford denied that the argument became physical, and police noted there were no visible marks on either of them.
Clifford was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, family violence, after Erica told officers the home was in her name.
Erica was then arrested herself. Officers reportedly smelled marijuana at the home, obtained a search warrant and said they found marijuana and what appeared to be THC wax. She was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
Both are charged only, and the allegations have not been proven in court. At the time of this post we had not seen a public statement from either of them. We will update you if that changes.
