Erica Mena Dating Show Contestant Jardyn “Pee Wee” Walker Found Shot Dead in St. Louis, Suspect Charged

Another loss connected to Erica Mena’s viral television series has left fans shaken.

Jardyn “Pee Wee” Walker, a contestant on “Two Ways with Erica Mena,” was killed in a shooting in St. Louis early Wednesday morning. He was 23 years old. His death comes after the show previously lost another cast member, Saiveon “Seven” Hopkins, who was murdered in 2024.

According to TMZ, Walker was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said officers were already responding to a shots-fired call late Tuesday night in the Central West End area. Investigators later determined the incidents were connected.

Walker had been reported missing earlier that night after he failed to meet his sister for a planned ride home from an Amazon facility in Hazelwood. Police said he was last seen while delivering packages in the University City area. When detectives tracked the final ping from his cellphone, it led them to an alley near where his body was found.

Officers responding to the initial gunfire reportedly saw a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop. A suspect was detained, and prosecutors later charged 27-year-old Jamaal Jones with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and tampering with evidence.

Following the news, Erica Mena shared tributes online, writing that she was “crushed.” Fellow cast member Celina Powell remembered Walker as “genuinely such a light on the show,” adding, “He was always meant to be a star.”

The investigation remains ongoing.
