Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada says she wants answers after buying two puppies that quickly got sick.
According to The Blast, Evelyn bought two Maltipoo puppies for her son on November 24 after finding them in an online listing. Once the puppies were delivered, they became very ill, and a vet reportedly told her they had parasites and needed prompt treatment.
She says the puppies needed repeated vet visits over about a week. While bathing them, she reportedly noticed their coats had been dyed brown, though Maltipoos of that kind are naturally white. Evelyn says she contacted the sellers, who allegedly told her they had nothing to do with the condition of the animals and would not cover the costs.
The Blast reports that Evelyn has now filed paperwork asking for an investigation. The sellers had not responded to the allegations in the reports we saw, and these claims have not been proven.
