Ex-Raiders Player Chandler Jones Think CTE is Not Real

Chandler Jones has made headlines this year for some less-than-ideal situations involving the law. Twice, he faced arrests in Las Vegas for violating a domestic violence protection order. One of the leading pass rushers in the last decade was once again in a confrontation with the police, this time in Arizona. A video Jones shared online shows him being approached by officers from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office at a residence looking to speak to Jones.

The interaction initiated with Jones and the officers, with one of them saying, “Mr. Jones, we’ve got to talk about why we’re here now.” Suddenly, Jones dropped his phone, exclaiming, “Wait! No!”

This challenging year for Jones suggests possible mental health struggles. The Las Vegas Raiders released Jones before a snap was played this season following a September arrest in Nevada, and it appears that things have taken a downhill turn since then.

Jones shared a second video on Instagram Monday morning involving himself and the cops.

Recently, the police visited Jones’ residence to investigate a fire that apparently started in his backyard. In a recording, Jones can be heard asking the cops about the reason for their visit. They accused him of burning furniture, but he clarified that he was burning firewood. Jones even offered to show the firewood to the cops, but they declined.
