Lifetime’s upcoming docuseries about the allegations surrounding R. Kelly continues to draw attention. TMZ reports that Lifetime has involved relatives of some of the women connected to the singer in the making of the series.
According to TMZ, Michelle, whose daughter Dominique was said to be connected to Kelly, is taking part. TMZ reports Michelle previously went to find her daughter and bring her home. Angelo, who has said he has been trying to locate his own daughter, is also reportedly involved, along with Tim, the father of Joycelyn.
TMZ also reports that its reporter spoke with Joycelyn in Los Angeles. She denied claims that Kelly was running a cult or holding any women against their will. She said a lawsuit filed against Kelly by a woman identified as Jane Doe was an attempt to get money or media attention.
Kelly’s representatives have denied the allegations made against him. The claims in the series remain allegations.
