Megan Thee Stallion’s long-awaited single, “Cobra,” was released on Friday, and fans believe her rumored ex-boyfriend, Pardison Fontaine, may have broken her heart.
In the single, Meg gets transparent about her battle with depression and drinking to cope with the pain she feels surrounding the loss of her parents and the many pressures of being an artist with so much on her plate. However, one line specifically stands out from the rest and has left the internet dragging Pardi.
“Pulled up, caught him cheatin’, gettin’ his d**k sucked in the same spot I’m sleepin’. Lord, give me a break. I don’t know how much more of this s**t I can take,” Meg rapped.
Meg and Pardi were an item from around 2020 to 2023. He famously defended her during the Tory Lanez case. However, late last year, Meg did hint at the situation being a bit too much for Pardi. While testifying at the trial in December 2022, Meg admitted that the songwriter was embarrassed by the attention being given to her sexual history, which came into play during much of the trial.
While neither has addressed their breakup publicly, he has been seen out recently with Jamaican artist Jada Kingdom. It’s unknown if Megan is seeing anyone new.
