Stay vigilant people. We are living in crazy times. By now, everyone has seen the violence against activists and heard about the multiple “mysterious” people found hanged. Everyone should be aware that there are people out there that want to harm us.

According to USA Today, on Monday, the FBI arrested a man who threatened to kill Black Lives Matter protesters in an online video.

FBI agents and the U.S. Attorney’s Office informed the public that Manuel Flores, 42, a truck driver from El Paso, Texas, posted a YouTube video in which he made threats toward BLM protesters. He was arrested on federal charges in Dallas after authorities received an online tip to the FBI National Threat Operations Center.

Flores’ YouTube video was under the account name “Don’t C.A. My TX.” An AR-15 rifle can be seen at Flores’ feet, who does not show his face. In the video, Flores is allegedly heard saying, “500 rounds of something” and dared activists of the BLM movement to “stop him.”

The criminal complaint claims that Flores also said, “My dream is at least take out at least 200 (racial slur), (expletive) savages out,”

Thanks to the tip, authorities successfully traced the post to Flores’ phone and arrived at his El Paso home around 3 am Sunday.

Flores admitted the YouTube account belongs to him and blamed the video on the eight or nine IPA-style beers he drank earlier that day. Documents report he didn’t remember what he said on the YouTube video and took it down while FBI agents were at his home.

“Flores stated that he loves America and is upset about what is going on right now. However, Flores has no intention of harming anyone but would defend himself if he had to. Flores was remorseful and apologetic to interviewing FBI Special Agents,” the complaint stated.

Authorities found an AR-15 style rifle and ammunition from his bedroom. He was arrested without incident.

“Our office will treat any threats of violence against protesters extremely seriously,” U.S. Attorney John F. Bash said in a tweet regarding the case.

Flores made his first court appearance on Tuesday before a Dallas magistrate judge. He is currently in custody by the U.S. Marshals and will be transferred to El Paso.

If convicted, he may face up to five years in federal prisons. Be safe, activists.
