A man has been charged with murder in the death of a Ferguson, Missouri mother, according to Fox 2 and CBS News.
Sharae, 25, was found shot to death in her apartment on Saturday. Her family says she had met the man on Facebook about a week earlier. Authorities say she had agreed to meet him at her apartment.
Prosecutors say surveillance video shows a man entering her apartment complex around 4:50 p.m. and leaving around 5:30 p.m., and that he tried to hide his appearance as he left. Sharae was found around 6 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Authorities say her cell phone and rent money were missing, and that her phone was later found at the home of the man now charged.
Stassie has been charged with first degree murder, first degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action. He is being held on a $1 million cash bond. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
Sharae’s 6 year old daughter was not home at the time.
