Fetty Wap is in more legal trouble after being arrested Friday when his ankle monitor went off inside an airport.
The “Trap Queen” star was placed in handcuffs while inside the Newark Liberty International Airport around 1:40 p.m. At some point, his ankle monitor alerted authorities to his whereabouts. An outstanding warrant out of New Jersey was unveiled when they ran his information. The warrant was for a $500 public nuisance charge.
Fetty is also embroiled in a massive narcotics case that could see him spending quite a few years in prison if convicted. He was previously arrested on October 28th by federal authorities as part of the multi-million dollar drug bust, where he was classified as a “kilogram-level redistributor.” That bust uncovered $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, various pills, and heroin.
An Instagram Story on his profile indicated that Fetty was slated to perform at a show in Dallas, Texas, Friday night. It seems that he is now a free man once again, so Fetty may be able to make his gig after all.
