Former Atlanta Falcons defensive end John Abraham is wanted by Brookhaven police on a misdemeanor battery charge tied to an alleged incident at the Pink Pony strip club on February 28.
According to the police report, Abraham allegedly punched his business partner, Vladmir, in the face and bloodied his nose. The two were once friends but had a falling out over finances a couple of years earlier, and they stayed partners in a beverage business. Vladmir told police he spotted Abraham at the club and approached to squash their beef, and that Abraham then hit him in the face five times.
The report quotes Vladmir as saying he never threatened or touched Abraham, not even in self defense. He also said he waited 12 hours to report it because he feared bad publicity would hurt their company.
Police were not able to get surveillance footage until recently, which is why the charge is being revisited. This is an allegation and Abraham has not been convicted. No response from him was included in the report, and Baller Alert will share any statement from his side.
