Former Arkansas governor, Mike Huckabee, who once referred to Jay Z as Beyonce’s pimp, is back at it again. This time he is criticizing democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, over the upcoming concert Jay Z will be headlining in Cleveland showing his support for her.
“Jay Z’s doing a concert, and I’m thrilled to have this support,” Clinton said during an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” radio show that aired Wednesday. “Because I think one of the biggest jobs that I will face, assuming everything goes well, is how are we going to heal all these divides?”
While hip hop fans are thrilled, Mike Huckabee had a thing or two to say. “So Hillary Clinton is horrified by sexist and obscene language…unless it comes from famous rappers who set it to a beat and use it to promote her presidential campaign,” Huckabee said on Facebook. “Okay, got it. She does have ethics, they’re just ‘situational.'”
Again, this wouldn’t be the first time Huckabee has criticized Jay Z in some magnitude. Not long ago he had some pretty trash things to say about the Brooklyn rapper as well. In his book “God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy,” Huckabee says, “Beyonce is incredibly talented –- gifted, in fact. She has an exceptional set of pipes and can actually sing. She is a terrific dancer –- without the explicit moves best left for the privacy of her bedroom,” Mike Huckabee quipped in his book. “Jay Z is a very shrewd businessman, but I wonder: Does it occur to him that he is arguably crossing the line from husband to pimp by exploiting his wife as a sex object?”
I can’t wait until the BeyHive drags him again.
