Fox News correspondent Ed Henry is off the air after In Touch Magazine published claims from a woman who says she had an affair with him.
According to In Touch, a Las Vegas woman named Natalia says she and Henry carried on a relationship for about 10 months. Henry has been married to his wife, Shirley, since 2010. Natalia told the magazine they met through social media and that they saw each other when he was in Las Vegas for work. She also told In Touch that he sometimes described the relationship in terms that sounded like a girlfriend situation and rarely spoke about his wife.
The magazine says it reviewed text messages and photos that Natalia provided, including a picture of Henry posing with Air Force One and messages about a possible trip to Mar a Lago. These are her claims as presented by In Touch, and Henry’s own response was not included in the report.
Natalia also told the magazine that things changed earlier this year after Henry’s Twitter account was hacked and his old tweets were deleted, and that she was later told not to contact him again. In Touch reported those details as her account of events.
Fox News addressed the situation in a statement. “We recently became aware of Ed’s personal issues and he’s taking some time off to work things out,” the network said.
