Frank Ocean has slapped his former producer with a lawsuit over claims that he helped write some of Ocean’s songs from his “Blonde” album. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In documents obtained by TMZ, Ocean says he hired Om’Mas Keith back in 2014 to produce master recordings for the project. At the time, according to Ocean, Keith was paid a flat fee for the master recordings, but he, in no way, helped write the songs.

On the other hand though, Keith, who registered with ASCAP, claimed he helped write 11 songs from the project, including “Pink + White,” and “Ivy.” Now, Ocean is firing back.

Ocean says Keith did not write the lyrics, melody or music on the “Blonde” project, and now he wants a judge to block Keith from getting any songwriting credits for his project.
