Cool Down with Free Slurpees: 7-Eleven Day Returns July 11 with New Flavors and Fun Perks

If it’s July, that can only mean one thing: Slurpee season.

7-Eleven Day is back next Friday, July 11th, and stores across the country, including Speedway and Stripes, are giving away free small Slurpees to mark the brand’s 98th birthday. Customers can walk in and grab any flavor for free, no strings attached. As always, the lineup includes fan favorites like Cherry, Coca-Cola, and Blue Raspberry, plus soda-inspired flavors like Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, and Vernors.

There are some new twists this year, too. Fans can try Mountain Dew Infinite Swirl, which blends pineapple and berry, or the Peace Tea Caddy Shack, a mashup of tea and lemonade that dropped in May.

To celebrate turning 98, 7-Eleven is adding a strange but fun bonus: Slurpee “Tongue-toos.” These temporary tattoos are made to show an “S” on your tongue after sipping your Slurpee. And if you’re a loyalty member, there’s more. Anyone who uses the 7Rewards or Speedy Rewards app when claiming their free Slurpee will receive a second coupon for another one. That extra drink can be picked up anytime before July 31st.

Whether you’re going for the sugar rush or just want to beat the heat, 7-Eleven Day is doing what it always does—handing out free Slurpees and keeping it cool.

They can’t even keep the product in stock. I’m diabetic and really liked their zero‑sugar Slurpee, but the machine is always broken or they’re out of it every time I go.
