Nard & B are the song’s producers and DJ Spinz served as coproducer. The credited writers include Future, James Bernard Rosser Jr., Brandon Rackley, and Gary Hill. The production carries the kind of uplifting energy that allows Future to look back at hardship while sounding determined to celebrate what came after it.
The record was never positioned as the biggest commercial single from “Pluto.” Songs including “Turn On the Lights,” “Same Damn Time,” “Tony Montana,” and “Magic” received more mainstream attention.
