Rapper G Herbo was arrested Wednesday after an argument with the mother of his son, Ariana, reportedly turned physical, according to TMZ.
According to police, the incident happened Wednesday morning following a verbal dispute. Herbo reportedly left the scene with their son at first, then came back to speak with officers. After that conversation, and after officers noted minor scratches on Ariana, police arrested him on a simple battery charge.
Police have not said what sparked the argument, and the investigation was still ongoing at the time of this report. A charge is an accusation, not a conviction, and we have not seen a public response from Herbo.
Per TMZ, Herbo remained in jail with his bond set at $2,000. We will pass along more as it develops.
