A jury has reportedly ruled against The Game in a $10 million sexual assault lawsuit filed by Priscilla, a former contestant on his VH1 dating show, “She’s Got Game.”
According to The Jasmine BRAND, the jury reached its verdict in Priscilla’s favor after hearings that began on Nov. 14. She sued the Compton rapper in August 2015, alleging that he sexually assaulted her during the taping of the show. In her suit, she claimed she suffered physical, emotional and psychological harm.
The Game has denied the allegations. He accused Priscilla of lying and made claims about her personal background, which she disputed. Earlier this year she won a default judgment after he failed to respond to the suit. He later tried to have the case thrown out, but a judge ordered both sides to attempt a settlement before trial.
Sources close to The Game tell Baller Alert that the rapper was ordered not to fly after an emergency dental procedure and therefore could not make his scheduled court appearance. His attorneys reportedly plan to appeal the judgment.
The Jasmine BRAND reports that the amount of damages has not been made public, either because it has not been filed yet or because it will be set at a separate hearing.
