Comedian Gary Owen is officially a married man after tying the knot with Brianna Johnson during a lavish Houston wedding celebration.
The stand-up comic and actor exchanged vows with Johnson on March 7 at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston in front of roughly 170 guests. The couple designed the event with a sleek black-and-white theme that blended upscale style with lively entertainment. Guests enjoyed luxury touches throughout the night, including a champagne tower, caviar service, and a custom espresso martini ice luge.
Owen was joined at the altar by several familiar faces from the 2012 comedy film “Think Like a Man.” His groomsmen included Terrence J, Romany Malco, Jerry Ferrara, Michael Ealy, and film producer Will Packer. Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson officiated the ceremony, adding a personal touch to the star-studded occasion.
The couple’s children were also part of the ceremony. Their twin sons, Royal and Rome, served as ring bearers, while Johnson’s daughter Reign participated as a junior bridesmaid. Johnson also made sure her 92-year-old grandmother had a role in the big day, inviting her to walk down the aisle as the ceremony’s “flower gram.”
Guests watched as Johnson walked down the aisle to a violin performance of Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful,” while Owen entered to Wale and Usher’s “The Matrimony.”
The celebration continued with a lively reception that included music, comedy, and celebrity moments. Rapper Bun B introduced the newlyweds, Terrence J delivered a short rap performance, and comedians Russell Peters and Luenell entertained guests with humorous toast-style sets.
Owen and Johnson first met after she attended one of his comedy shows. The pair became engaged in 2022 and welcomed their twin sons in 2023 before officially saying “I do.”
