Gayle King has some thoughts on her rival morning show’s affair that broke the internet last week.
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have allegedly been romanticly involved, and it was revealed after the Daily Mail leaked images of the two around town seemingly boo’d up.
King was on “Watch What Happens Lives with Andy Cohen” on Thursday, where she was asked about the situation and described it as “very messy and very sloppy.”
“In the beginning, I actually thought: Good on ‘Good Morning America.’ They’re saying they’re not taking them off the air. It’s two consenting adults,” King said.
“But then the more you read, it’s just very messy,” the news anchor said. “To me, it’s just a sad situation because you’ve got kids involved, you’ve got families involved, and I keep thinking about that. I’m very concerned about that.”
The whole relationship has been explained as this isn’t the first time Holmes has had relations with “GMA3” staff.
DailyMail posted pictures on Nov. 30 of Holmes and Robach holding hands and seeming very close. It was later revealed that the two were in a relationship after they broke off their respective marriages. At first, Holmes and Robach were back on the air with no problem, but now ABC has pulled them from their anchor chairs as they investigate whether they violated any work policies.
