Stevie J is making it clear he never abandoned Diddy, even as the Bad Boy founder faced mounting legal problems and public backlash. During a recent appearance on Flex 98.5, Stevie J reflected on the last year and a half and doubled down on his loyalty to Diddy.

“You know, as you witnessed, I was the only one holding my homie down before he went to jail,” Stevie J said during the interview.
The producer also spoke about distancing himself from people he felt were not genuine during the controversy.
“I left a whole bunch of fake n***as alone and just started rocking with me and my family,” he said.
Later in the conversation, Stevie J dismissed several accusations tied to Combs by saying, “You talking about, ‘Oh, the kids is this, and all this, and he raping this, all that stuff.’ Where did all of that go? Out the garbage.”
Diddy’s legal troubles became one of the music industry’s biggest stories after federal prosecutors charged him in 2024 with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Prosecutors alleged he used his business empire to facilitate criminal activity tied to so called “Freak Off” events. Diddy pleaded not guilty to the charges.
In 2025, a jury found the mogul guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted him on the more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges. He was later sentenced to four years and two months in federal prison.
