NFL quarterback Geno Smith found himself at the center of Father’s Day drama after his girlfriend, Kris, took to social media with serious allegations and a series of heated posts aimed at the Raiders star.
Kris, who goes by everythingkrisxo on Instagram, claimed that Geno physically assaulted her after she seemingly dropped his son off inside his home. In one post, she pushed back against people calling her a liar and challenged Geno to release the full home security footage.
“One thing you guys aren’t gonna do is bash me on this internet and call my a liar,” she wrote. “People who know me, KNOW! Geno would NOT provide home security footage to the police. How about you guys ask him to release the footage?”
Kris made it clear she was not just referring to doorbell camera footage, adding, “NOT JUST THE DOORBELL CAMERA. ALL OF IT. I’ll wait.”
She also addressed conversations surrounding Geno’s child, stating that the child is not hers but that she has been supportive. Kris appeared to accuse Geno of not being fully present for his son, who she says has special needs. To support her claims, she shared what appeared to be a message from the child’s mother, Ken, criticizing Geno’s involvement.
In the message, Ken allegedly wrote that Geno sends money but does not check on the child or know about his day-to-day life. The message also accused him of waiting until the last minute to handle important medical or care-related needs.
However, Ken later came forward with her own statement, defending Geno and shutting down any attempt to use her child in the public back-and-forth. She posted a photo of Geno with their son and wrote, “Geno is and always has been more than capable of taking care of his son. Let’s kill that narrative. Don’t get on the internet bringing my son into your web of dysfunction.”
The messy exchange comes as Geno is preparing for a new chapter with the Las Vegas Raiders. Last year, the team signed off on a $75 million extension, with $66.5 million guaranteed. The deal came after Geno set Seattle Seahawks franchise records in 2024 for passing yards and completion rate.
As of now, Geno has not responded in the provided posts. But one thing is clear: this Father’s Day situation went from private family matters to public timeline drama real quick.
