A Georgia woman named Kimberly was arrested last Thursday for allegedly posing as an FBI agent to try to get free food at a Chick-fil-A in Rockmart, according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.
The report says restaurant employees called police after she claimed to be a federal agent. When officers arrived, she reportedly continued to say she was with the FBI. Asked to show proof, she told them her credentials were “electronic” and could not be shown.
Per the report, officers then warned her they would use a Taser, and she left the restaurant. The report also says she began talking into her shirt as if speaking into a radio, telling someone she was being arrested.
Kimberly has been charged with impersonating a public official. A charge is an allegation, and a response from her was not included in the reports we reviewed.
