A Georgia woman is facing multiple charges after neighbors say she pointed a gun at two Black boys riding their bikes through a Peach County neighborhood.
According to WMAZ, a neighbor called Patricia, 52, to say two kids were on a piece of property she uses. Patricia reportedly grabbed her gun and headed to the spot. The two boys, ages 12 and 13, told the station she pointed the weapon at them and ordered them to stop. She reportedly said, “Stop, or I’ll shoot you.”
Days later, Patricia was charged with aggravated assault, child cruelty and terroristic threats, WMAZ reports. Charges are allegations, and she has not been convicted of anything.
Reports say the land was not her home and was reportedly used as a construction shop where she kept a few animals. One of the boys went to get his grandmother, who started recording on Facebook Live.
Patricia’s side of the story is in the police report. She told officers she did not know the boys were kids, and that because there were not many Black children in the area, she thought they were strangers up to no good. She also said she had a right to defend herself because she did not know if the boys were armed.
The boys’ grandmother told WMAZ the officer was not convinced, and said Patricia told the officer she would have shot the boys if they had approached her. The arresting officer reportedly noted Patricia had enough time to see their ages and that the boys posed no danger to her.
The case is a reminder of how quickly a neighborhood bike ride can turn dangerous. We will keep you posted if there are developments.

And conservatives say America has no racism!
I pray that one day that the racism that white people feel for the black race will disappear. I hope that one day, the black didn’t ask to come here they were kidnapped to force to live here. White folks want to hate someone, then hate their forefathers for stealing humans & bringing them here to rape, kill & put them in slavey
