Diamond Brown is accusing Chris Brown of making death threats against her most recent boyfriend and his twin brother, and says his behavior has left her afraid to date again.
The allegations come from new documents Diamond filed in their ongoing child support case over their 4 year old daughter, Lovely. According to the filing, the two split about two years ago, but Diamond says Chris has stayed in contact with her and becomes extremely angry whenever she dates other men.
“He has made death threats against my most recent boyfriend, and continued threats to not only him, but also to his twin brother,” Diamond claimed. She also said she understands that third parties have made threats on his behalf.
Diamond says this is not the first time. She claims another relationship she started after their breakup fell apart the same way. “Both of these relationships broke up because of Chris’s harassment,” she wrote. “I should not be left to be scared to move on with my life because of Chris’s anger and resentment.”
She described his behavior as “harassing, disturbing my peace and feels extremely frightening,” and said she feels like she has been “living under siege.” Diamond says she has been asking his attorney since March to get him to stop. She is not asking the court for a restraining order.
The filing also takes aim at how involved Chris is with their daughter. Diamond claims he has not asked to see Lovely in the last six to seven months.
Then there is the money. Diamond says she earns about $1,500 a month and believes Chris is worth around $50 million. She accuses him of refusing to turn over his financial documents so the court can figure out how much support he should pay, saying he has stalled discovery and tried to run her out of money. She says she is not trying to live his lifestyle, only to get enough to cover what Lovely needs.
Chris denies the harassment claims. In an email from his attorney to Diamond’s legal team included in the filing, his lawyer wrote that Chris denies the accusations and said they continue to see Diamond posting things that are inappropriate. The attorney also asked her team to lay out specific allegations for him to respond to.
This is not the first time Diamond has made these claims. In February, she went off on Instagram while vacationing in Turks and Caicos, accusing Chris of threatening her boyfriend and his brother and saying it was the second time he had been angry about her moving on. Chris’s girlfriend, Jada Wallace, fired back at the time, accusing Diamond of being the one keeping Lovely away from him. Chris responded on his own Instagram Story, writing that he wasn’t playing internet games, without naming anyone.
