Perennial All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo is weighing his options as he enters his thirteenth season with the Milwaukee Bucks. With Damian Lillard sidelined for most of the season due to a torn Achilles and no first-round picks in sight until 2030, something has to give.

Coming off another season averaging a 30-point double-double, his impact is still felt throughout the NBA, as he continues to rank among the top five players in the league.

With interest from teams like San Antonio, Houston, and Toronto, the Milwaukee Bucks are also weighing their options and future. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith was asked if there was one word to describe Giannis’ legacy on “First Take” Friday morning — and he shocked everyone with his answer.

“Underachiever, and I’m going to tell you why — he’s one of the greatest players to ever play the game,” Smith said in response to Molly’s question. “Over the last four years, minimum 200 games, Giannis is second in the league, 30.4 points per game…nine All-NBA selections in his career. Nine All-Star selections…he has more of that than postseason wins. That’s unacceptable.”

Smith tried to clarify his take by saying you can’t fully blame the Greek Freak for the playoff struggles, but argued it would be fair to call him an underachiever if he doesn’t win another championship, despite delivering Milwaukee its first title in over 50 years.

Take a look at Smith’s comments from this morning’s “First Take” below.
