As the legal battle between #GloriaGovan and her ex and baby daddy #MattBarnes continues, things are heating up in a separate legal issue involving her sister, #LauraGovan.
Back in 2016, Laura was ordered to fork over $110,110 to her baby daddy, #GilbertArenas, for she allegedly writing an email claiming he gave her STDs and then leaking it to the media. Since then though, Arenas has yet to receive a payment.

As a result, Arenas and his legal team have filed new court documents with requests for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department to take Govan’s money by force. According to Bossip, Arenas’ lawyers filed a writ of execution against Govan in an attempt to have Govan’s money seized from her bank accounts in the amount of his six-figure judgment for his emotional distress.

Problem is, when the sheriff’s office moved to make good on the writ, there was no money in the accounts listed under Govan’s name, the publication reports. However, it remains unclear if Govan closed the accounts before the filing or in the wake of it.
