A woman was arrested after running onto the court in the middle of play during Game 4 of the Lakers and Nuggets playoff series in Denver.
The 20 year old came out of the stands and headed toward Nuggets guard Ty Lawson before a referee stepped in and stopped her. Witnesses say she was asking where Kenyon Martin was, over and over.
There was one problem: Kenyon Martin doesn’t play for the Nuggets anymore.
The Denver Post reports that the woman has a history of following NBA players. She was taken into custody at the arena.
Players are exposed enough on the court as it is, and fans getting onto the floor during a game is a real security problem. Thankfully nobody was hurt this time.
