The federal jail guards who were supposed to keep watch over pedophile Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein on the night he committed suicide have admitted to falsifying records, but thanks to a deal with prosecutors, they will not face any jail time.

According to The New York Post, the guards, Tova Noel and Michael Thomas, admitted in court that they “willfully and knowingly” lied on forms stating that they’d made the required rounds checking on inmates the night of Epstein’s suicide in August 2019.

Prosecutors claim the guards were busy napping and surfing the web when they should have kept a close eye on the high profile maximum-security prisoner, who had recently been placed on suicide watch at the federal facility, Metropolitan Correctional Center.

Under the announced plea deal, the pair will avoid jail time for their misconduct and will be required to complete 100 hours of community service. They will also cooperate with a federal probe.
