Since their debut earlier this year, the Gucci Run Sneaker has become a staple in high-end running shoes. Now, the luxury brand has unveiled a stunning new colorway available exclusively in women’s sizes.
The green and purple performance shoe is crafted of a technical knit fabric that features interlocked GG’s. A purple and white marble effect adorns part of the sole, with green and light purple rubber on the heel. The purple and white laces also contrast perfectly with the sneaker’s green upper.
As with the other Gucci Run Sneakers, the new design will run buyers $890. They come shipped in Gucci’s vintage-inspired green packaging along with a reusable cotton canvas shopper.
Gucci Run Sneakers have become quite popular among the brand’s sneaker offerings since their release in February. Before expanding to the United States, they were first made available in the U.K. Originally donned as a running shoe, the sneaker’s aesthetic has seemingly taken over whatever performance capabilities it holds. The sleek style with its ample foot support makes it a piece of footwear suitable for a day of exercise or a night out with friends.
