A Georgia cosmetic surgeon is facing several malpractice lawsuits after videos she posted online showed her singing and dancing during procedures, according to a joint investigation by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and WSB-TV.
The investigation identified the doctor as Dr. Windell Davis-Boutte. According to the report, the videos show her performing remixed versions of popular songs, including O.T. Genasis’ “Cut It,” while operating on patients, with members of her staff dancing in the background. The report says she is shown standing over patients’ bodies and using surgical tools as props.
The AJC and WSB-TV reported that she faces four pending lawsuits and has settled five malpractice cases. The investigation also reported that her Gwinnett County office, Premiere Aesthetic Center, is not a licensed surgery center. The lawsuits are allegations, and Baller Alert has not seen a response from the doctor in the reporting available to us.
The story has raised questions about patient consent and safety, and many readers are asking how they would feel if their procedure ended up in a video they did not know about.
