Halle Bailey confirms that she welcomed a baby boy with her boyfriend, DDG.
On Saturday, Bailey posted on her Instagram page, sharing a photo featuring her newborn son’s hand adorned with a gold bracelet engraved with his name, Halo.
“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son,” Bailey wrote. “I like all of the scary feelings that come with that. I like the suspense, the not knowing what’s going to happen, and I feel like that’s what I’m supposed to be going through in womanhood. Welcome to the world my halo. The world is desperate to know you.”
DDG shared the same photo on his Instagram on Saturday, expressing, “my biggest blessing by far,” and expressing that he has “never been so in love.”
The couple, romantically connected since 2022, had not officially acknowledged their pregnancy until Saturday’s unexpected announcement. Despite keeping their growing family under wraps, Bailey had previously shared insights into her flourishing romance with DDG. In a 2022 interview with British Vogue, she revealed, “experiencing deep love for the first time in my life is something I feel has opened a whole new world for me creatively.”
