The divorce between Deion Sanders and Pilar Sanders keeps getting messier, and now Tracey Edmonds has been pulled into it.
According to TMZ, Pilar is taking legal action to question the women she claims are Deion’s mistresses, and one of the names on her list is Tracey Edmonds, the producer and ex wife of Babyface who was also engaged to Eddie Murphy. Pilar also accuses Deion of tampering with witnesses in the case.
Tracey shut it down quickly. She denied any romantic involvement with Deion and said she has only worked with him on his reality show. I am shocked to learn that Pilar Sanders is trying to drag me and my employees through her pre-nuptial dispute,” Tracey told TMZ. She added that she can’t understand why Pilar keeps turning private issues into public ones, and that she feels very sorry for their children.
The split has been a mess from the start. Over the past few weeks there have been public accusations from both sides, a Twitter blowup involving Deion’s daughter, a confrontation between Pilar and Deion’s aunt, and lawsuits from Pilar accusing Deion of abuse.
Deion has not responded to Pilar’s latest claims. And Tracey is right about one thing: the kids are the ones caught in the middle.
