Hazel-E sheds light on her plastic surgery recovery period, and many could see it as a teaching moment. She offered some insight into her postoperative complications and sent out a message for those thinking about going under the knife.
In March, Hazel-E reported that her “Mommy Makeover” has landed her in emergency surgery. It remains unclear what exactly caused the crisis, but the Love And Hip Hop reality star shared details about her horrible experience on social media, in which she reported that she was forced to have a blood transfusion and her breast implants removed, BET reported.
Months later, the reality star went under the knife for more cosmetic surgery to repair her body. She received unexpected backlash that she lacked self-love.
She used her Instagram to give out facts about her body, writing, “The liposuction was definitely optional but my tummy tuck was necessary. I could barely walk.”
She remains very vocal about her plastic surgery experiences and recently showed fans a glimpse of her bedtime recovery plan, which also included a cautionary reminder that some people give the illusion of a speedy recovery.
“Bedtime routine hits a little bit differently,” she began the video before showing her bandaged midsection a month post-op. “I just want to let all the younger girls and people considering plastic surgery know that it’s not an easy road.”
“Everybody looks at the results and thinks, ‘Ohh my gosh she looks so great. Her BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) is so poppin. Oh my god, her mommy makeover is so great.’ But just know the road to recovery is work. It’s work. You have to put in lots of work and know that those perfect figures, those round booties, those big boobies…it didn’t arrive easy.”
