Are you here for it? Supermodel Heidi Klum teams up with Snoop Dogg to create a new dance track called “Chai Tea With Heidi.”
On Friday, Heidi dropped her new single featuring Snoop Dogg and said, “Anyone who knows me, knows I love hip-hop. Working with Snoop Dogg has always been a dream of mine.”
Heidi tells Variety that the idea of working with Snoop came about after her producers from her hit show “Germany’s Top Model” suggested that she does something “fabulous for the next season.”
Heidi’s producers hinted at her singing the show’s theme song as a duet with another artist. Immediately, Klum thought of the California rapper and gave him a call. After hearing the music, Snoop gave the supermodel the green light and got to work.
“… I’m in Inglewood and played it for Snoop. He went right in the vocal booth and started rapping. Three days later, we mash it all up together and we had ‘Chai Tea With Heidi.’ This literally is like, one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done.”
This isn’t Heidi’s first shot at a music career. In 2006, the German-American model released her holiday hit “Wonderland.”
