Hunter Biden has asked an Arkansas judge to block his 4-year-old daughter, Navy Joan, from receiving his last name.
Lunden Roberts, Biden’s ex-lover and a former stripper, sought to change their daughter’s last name to Biden. She believes the Biden name is “synonymous with being well educated, successful, financially acute and politically powerful.”
But Biden, who initially denied the little girl was his daughter, says the opposite. According to the New York Post, he believes that Navy Joan will not live a “peaceful existence” if she is permitted to take his last name. In the motion filed by his attorney, Biden claims that the girl should be free to decide for herself at a later date.
Roberts believes that giving her daughter the Biden name would begin to “misconduct or neglect” as the little girl remains estranged from the First Family.
Navy Joan was born in August of 2018, and Biden denied that he was the father. A DNA test requested by Roberts proved that he did indeed father the child. The girl was conceived while Biden was in a relationship with his late brother Beau’s widow, Hallie Biden.
Biden was ordered to pay Roberts child support, which he sought to have lowered in September 2022. He claimed his financial situation had substantially changed in the filing.
