DC Young Fly says the autopay on his property quietly stopped working, and he went almost a year without a payment going through before he found a lien on it.

The comedian explained what happened in a video, and he did not hold back. “Bro, I swear the government be stealing,” he said.
According to DC, he had been paying on the property through autopay and assumed everything was handled. Then the system apparently changed. “I guess they not using one of the system that they taking the auto pay,” he said. “So, my [expletive] ain’t been paid in almost a year.”
He did not skip the bills. He did not ignore the notices. The money just stopped leaving his account, and he did not know until there was a lien on his home.
A lien is a legal claim on a property over an unpaid debt. Until it is cleared, it can block an owner from selling or refinancing, and left long enough, it can put the home itself at risk.
DC says he moved to pay it off right away. That is where the story gets messy.
When he called, he says the woman on the phone would not discuss the account with him because he is represented by a lawyer. DC pushed back. “I said, I’m the homeowner. So tell me the problem so I can give you the solution,” he recalled. Instead, he says she told him she would end the call.
“You don’t need to talk to my lawyer. You’re talking to me. Tell it to me,” he said.
His explanation comes after the lien had already gotten people talking. A thread on the forum Boxden questioned whether DC Young Fly’s money was slowing up. In his version, the problem was not a lack of money. It was a payment system that stopped taking it.
He closed the video with a warning for anyone who sets their bills and forgets them. “Stay on your [expletive] or they will take your [expletive].”
