The Trump administration is going full throttle on immigration enforcement, launching a major new campaign to recruit federal agents for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) with some serious cash incentives.
ICE is now offering up to a $50,000 signing bonus along with student loan forgiveness and other federal perks to draw in new agents. The push is aimed at building up enforcement teams focused on finding and deporting undocumented immigrants with criminal backgrounds.
Alongside the bonus, recruits will get access to student loan repayment options, enhanced retirement benefits, and extra pay through programs like Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP) for special agents and Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime (AUI) for deportation officers.
This hiring drive is backed by new funding from what the administration is calling the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” and comes with patriotic posters and recruitment ads rolling out across major cities, college campuses, job fairs, and law enforcement networks.
