Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti’s Atlanta rental home was burglarized last weekend, and according to law enforcement sources, the thieves took off with $366,000 worth of jewelry items.
Officers responded to a residential burglary last Sunday, and allegedly Iggy told police someone broke into their Buckhead mansion a few days prior and took off with their possessions. According to Hot New Hip-Hop, the missing items include custom rings, chains, bracelets, pendants, watches, earrings, and a diamond engagement ring.
Sources say Iggy told police she was alone inside the home when the burglary happened, and even heard footsteps in the house but didn’t think much of it at the time. She said it was raining outside that day, and she left a back door unlocked for Playboi Carti so he could get in the house without delay. Iggy also told police she thought the suspect(s) had a gun.
Police reportedly have security camera footage from the night of the burglary, which shows the suspect leaving the house with a bag in hand. No one has yet to be identified or charged for the burglary.
