Iman Shumpert is opening up about his breakup with Teyana Taylor and their personal business leaking online.

During a recent chat with Tap In With TT, the former baller opened up about the split, stating that he doesn’t want their many “great years together” to be overshadowed by the drama in the press.
“Something happened. They discussing it. But that happened a year ago,” he explained. “I mean some of the filings after…it’s hurtful to see.”
Taylor and Shumpert first announced their separation in September 2023, though the “Maybe” singer filed for divorce earlier that year in January 2023. The split was finalized on July 1st, 2024. However, before a judge signed off on it, Taylor accused Shumpert of trying to hinder her success and leaking their court records.
With their rocky separation, Shumpert says he isn’t sure if he would ever tie the knot again.
“I didn’t realize how young I fell in love. And now I need to just, like…I need to chill with me for a little bit. Like, I need to get me right. I got two kids now.” he stated.
It’s unclear if Shumpert is dating anyone currently, though Taylor has been linked to British actor, Aaron Pierre, though neither has confirmed their relationship.
