Instagram is swapping out swipe-ups for links stickers starting August 30.
The app’s new link feature will “streamline the stories creation experience and give users more ‘creative control.'”
Vishal Shah, former Head of Product, told The Verge that link stickers would allow users to respond to Stories easier — which works best considering how users interact on the app.
The new feature will only be available to users with swipe-up features. An unidentified spokesperson for Instagram says that the new update will help the company determine if it should expand access to more users.
