An Instagram model is telling her side of a trip to California that she says went wrong. In a series of Facebook posts over the weekend, a woman named Shamartess claimed rapper Future left her stranded after she traveled across the country to see him.
According to her posts, the two met in Miami and kept things friendly. She wrote that about three months later he reached out to reconnect, and she agreed to book her own flight after he told her he would reimburse her. She said the flight cost $550 and that she was promised much more than that back.
Shamartess wrote that a hotel room was arranged for her and a key was waiting at the front desk. She claimed that once she arrived, she realized the trip was not about the studio the way she had hoped. She said she made it clear she was not there for that and that the room was only booked for one night. In her words, she was told at the front desk she was due to check out, which left her without a place to stay.
She shared screenshots in support of her story. Future has not responded to her claims, and Baller Alert has not independently confirmed her account.
