Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk has garnered a huge following due to its realness and rawness when it comes to the hosts discussing relatable topics.

Now, Pinkett-Smith and her Husband, Will, are making headlines for their latest talk at the Red Table.

The couple addressed long-standing rumors of them practicing Scientology, and being swingers.

“Let’s clear some rumors, just to have it on record,” he said at the very end of Monday’s Facebook Watch episode. “We’ve never been Scientologists, we’ve never been swingers.” Jada added, “that’s a very specific lifestyle!”

According to the couple, hitting rock bottom saved their marriage.

“We essentially had to destroy our marriage,” Smith said. “She was like, ‘I can’t do this anymore,’ and to me… it was over, but divorce was never even an option.”

Despite their diminishing relationship at one point, Pinkett-Smith says that divorce was never an option for her either.

“It never crossed my mind,” Pinkett-Smith said. While she understands the need for divorce, she said it didn’t feel like the right solution for the couple. “We just needed to get to an agreement between he and I.”

“I was devastated even worse than a divorce,” Smith continued. “We broke up within our marriage and got back together again and had to rebuild with new rules and something way completely different.”

According to Smith, the two took time for themselves many times.

“I took off for two years, I worked on myself, I read 50 books on marriage, relationships and behavioral psychology. I shut down for two entire years to see what was I doing wrong.”

Now, according to the two, they’ve thrown out the traditional idea of marriage.

“Whatever she needs, she can count on me for the rest of my life,” explained Will. “There’s nothing that could happen that we won’t be together and love each other. And it’s not because we’re just saying it, it’s because we’ve cracked each other’s heads wide open.”
