Jaden Smith has landed himself a new gig at one of the world’s most illustrious fashion houses.
The multi-talented artist has been named Christian Louboutin’s first-ever men’s creative director, marking a bold and unexpected move in the world of high fashion. Smith will oversee all men’s collections for the iconic French label, leading the charge on shoes, bags, accessories, and campaigns.
Smith’s first capsule is set to drop in January, followed by a full-scale debut during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
Calling the opportunity “one of the biggest honors” of his life, Smith shared how deeply connected he feels to Louboutin’s creative process.
“When he reached out to me, I was just blown away,” Smith revealed to WWD. “We have such a similar energy and way of working.”
Known for pushing boundaries through his brand MSFTSrep and personal style, Smith plans to infuse that same spirit into Louboutin’s men’s line. His vision? To design for every kind of man: from the old-school patriarch to the trendsetting youngest son.
“We’re telling the story of men from every walk of life,” he said. “I want the line to reflect that journey.”
Louboutin echoed the sentiment, praising Smith’s unique ability to turn ideas into emotion-driven design. As the brand steps into a new era, all eyes are now on what this creative partnership will bring to the runway.
