Back Outside! Jamie Foxx and Alyce Huckstepp Reportedly Split After an Extremely Private 18-Month Romance

Jamie Foxx is preparing to share the story of the medical emergency that led to his hospitalization last year in a new special that will be taped for Netflix.

His upcoming show, titled “What Had Happened Was,” will explore his health scare, the support he received, and the rumors that surfaced online after his hospitalization. According to Bloomberg, Netflix won the rights to the special after a competitive bidding process.

On Monday, Foxx shared more details on Instagram, announcing a three-night engagement set for October 3-5 in Atlanta.

In April 2023, the Oscar and Grammy-winning actor and musician was hospitalized in Atlanta due to a sudden medical issue. While the exact cause has not been officially disclosed, Foxx has hinted at how serious it was earlier this summer while speaking to fans outside a restaurant in Pheonix. He told the group it started with a “bad headache” and that he was “gone for 20 days,” waking up with no memory of what had happened.

“April 11 last year, I had a bad headache and asked my boy for an Advil. Next thing I knew, I was gone for 20 days. I don’t remember anything,” Foxx explained. “I was in Atlanta, and my sister and daughter took me to the doctor. The doctor said, ‘There’s something going on up there,’” he added, pointing to his head. “I won’t say what it was on camera, but it was serious.”

Before this, in March, while being honored by the African American Film Critics Association, Foxx announced he would finally share the full story but wanted to do it “in a funny way.” It looks like that moment is almost here.
