A homeowner is taking a production company to court over a music video shoot connected to Janet Jackson.
According to TMZ and court documents, a man named David is suing Zanmi Films, the company behind the video for Jackson’s song “No Sleeep.” Janet Jackson is not named as a defendant. She is only connected to the case because the shoot was for her video.
David claims the company used his home in July 2015 and agreed in writing to cover any damage the production caused. After the shoot, he says he found extensive damage to his floors and walls. He claims he paid for repairs himself and had to leave his home for 14 days. He is seeking more than one million dollars in damages.
These are claims made in a lawsuit and have not been proven. TMZ reached out to Zanmi Films and had not received a response at the time of its report. No response from Jackson or her representatives has been reported.
