The couple announced their engagement, with Jasmin posting on Instagram, “11.27.2024. We’re engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn’t be more excited about this next chapter. Special thank you to everyone who made this moment so beautiful!”
This love story has been years in the making. Jasmin, 28, and Eric, 35, have been dating since July 2021. Interestingly, their connection didn’t come through their famous dads, despite Martin and Eddie being close friends and co-stars in classics like “Boomerang” and their cult classic, “Life.” Instead, they met through Jasmin’s uncle and have been inseparable ever since.
Jasmin often credits their families for their relationship’s success, saying their shared experiences gave them a unique understanding of each other. Back in September, her father praised the couple and their union.
“It’s beautiful,” Martin told E! News’ Will Marfuggi. “They both are beautiful young adults, and they get along so well.”
With such a rich history and two legendary families coming together, their wedding is sure to be nothing short of spectacular. Neither Jasmin nor Eric have shared their wedding plans.
