Stuck in South Carolina at a small gas station, the team pursued plan C—charter a private jet. But with weather strong enough to knock out commercial flights, they couldn’t guarantee the jet would arrive in time. At that point the risk of yet another cancellation became real.
Urgency called for plan D. An Uber ride was booked to take them to the nearest airport rental car station. Moments after the driver Tanner arrived, bags were loaded, and they pulled off. Eight minutes in, Jeezy asked him straight up if he could drive to Baltimore. He paused, thought about it, and Tanner didn’t even hesitate—kept going.
What followed was a relentless 10‑hour drive. Tanner pushed through with no stops until they reached Baltimore—arriving just ten minutes before showtime. Jeezy gifted him a Snowman T‑shirt and made him his guest for the night.
